Classification of gate valves
Leave a message
Flat gate valves are frequently used in pipes with lower diameters because the gate is parallel to the axis of the flow channel;
Plate gate valve with an inclined form: The gate is inclined, typically at a 45-degree angle or as an inclined plate. It performs better during cutting and is frequently used for pipes with a bigger diameter;
Wedge gate valve: There are two types of wedge gates: single wedge and double wedge. It is frequently employed in applications with high temperatures and pressures.
Sorting based on the type of driving:
Manual gate valve: The valve handwheel, handle, and other components must be manually turned in order to raise and lower the gate plate;
Electric gate valve: used to raise and lower the gate, powered by an electric motor;
Pneumatic gate valve: Pneumatic equipment (such pneumatic actuators) are used to raise and lower the gate plate;
Hydraulic gate valve: A hydraulic device (such as a hydraulic actuator) raises and lowers the gate plate.
